Prices Raise For Homes In San Francisco Bay Area

Since I’ve lived in San Francisco for a very long time, I only have good things to say about it. The weather is beautiful, the people are great, and there’s always something going on. Nothing can be better, which is why I suggested to my sister that she should move here. She’s been looking into where to move for a while now, and I finally convinced her that this really is a great area. She wasn’t exactly sure which area to move to, but I told her that there really wasn’t a bad area. We spent a lot of time in April just going to different areas of San Francisco, trying to find an affordable home.

Moving To London

I’m about to go through a major change in my life. I’ve been living in San Francisco for basically my whole life, and I will be moving to London for job reasons. It’s definitely going to be  an adjustment, but it’s definitely going to be worth it. I went there on a trip, and I instantly fell in love with it, which is why I wasn’t upset when I was told that I was going to have to move so far away. To get a little more familiar with the area, I decided to take a trip back there just two weeks ago. I thought this was also a great time to start apartment hunting.

Gasoline Prices Drop

With the summer approaching, this means that there will be more and more travelers. This also means that these people are also going to need to be gassing up their car. The gas prices have been known to raise during this time of massive travel. This might have even stopped some from actually traveling by car, due to the fact that they just can’t afford to spend a lot of money on gas. I was one of these people who felt this way for the past few summers, and I even had to give up on some trips because of this. I’ve had to go on vacation during the off season, which wasn’t very convenient when it comes to my work schedule. I told myself that I was going to save some money, just so I would be able to go this year during the spring or summer.

I’ve been looking into moving, but have had a hard time deciding exactly where. I know that I want to stay in California, but there are so many great areas. Continue reading

My Trip To California and Florida

I just got back from my month long trip, and I’m actually sad that I’m back at home. I’m usually happy that it’s time to come home from vacation, but not this time! I just didn’t want to leave, just because everything was so perfect. I started off the trip visiting San Francisco, which was quite an experience. It was my first time, and I didn’t know what to expect. Continue reading

San Francisco Sunday Streets

I love living in San Francisco for many reasons, as do my friends and family. I especially enjoy living here, because it’s such a great place to raise a family. My kids love that there’s always some type of event going on. There’s never a dull moment, which is exactly what my energetic kids need. All three of them have fun doing separate things, and my youngest child who’s three years old is happy just walking around town with me. Continue reading

My Trip To San Francisco

I recently got back from my trip to San Francisco, and it was a vacation that I will never forget. It was my first time visiting the area, and I’m already planing to go back soon. From the hotel, to the weather, everything was perfect. I live in New Jersey, so the weather at home was in the upper 40′s. I remember getting off the plane in California, and I couldn’t believe how nice the weather was. I was already relaxed from my flight, of course because I flew Southwest. Continue reading

Most Influential Women In Buisness

Being that I have a passion for anything business-like, it’s definitely a major part of my life. Getting any reward for anything business related would be such an honor, and I hope one day I could have that opportunity. Even though I hope that one day this does happen, I’m aiming to even get a small award. I know that there are many successful women in the business world, and it’s a very competitive world out there. Sports Town Once More

There was once a time where San Francisco boasted the worlds best football team, the San Francisco 49ers, but in recent seasons the team hasn’t been playing up to their usual levels. The 49ers have such a storied history, from the Joe Montana years, to the teams that Steve Young, that it is understandable that the fans have been angry with their recent play. In a different part of town, the San Francisco Giants also have a storied history, from the Willie Mays years, to Barry Bonds much talked about career. Like their football counterpart, the Giants have also recently fallen into hard times.

Fast forward to the present day, and the change in the air in San Francisco has changed dramatically. The 49ers were 1 game away from the Super Bowl last season (with a rookie head coach), and with a top 5 defense in the league, the future looks bright for the red and gold. When you add in that they play in a very winnable division, there is hope that the dominance of past 49ers teams will come back with a vengeance. As for the Giants, after missing the playoffs for 7 straight years, made a surprising run in 2010 to the World Series, and defeated the Texas Rangers 4 games to 1 to win their first World Series since the 1950s. With a mixture of youth and experience, the Giants pitched their way to the title. It doesn’t hurt to have the games best pitcher in Tim Linceum. At only 27 years old, the Giants have an ace that should be dominant for many years to come, and hopefully bring the city of San Francisco another title in the near future.

So calm down residents of the “city by the bay”, it’s a great time to live in San Francisco. The good years are seemingly back on the horizon, as the Giants and 49ers have bright futures ahead of them. Both teams have the youth to sustain an extended period of success, and the cushion of playing in a division that isn’t up to par with others in each sport. The fans have a reason to be excited again for the boys in gold and red, and the boys in orange and black.
